EMILY DUVALL JOLICOEUR
Emily graduated from Dickinson College in 2007 with a degree in Law & Policy. While in college, Emily studied political science in Norwich England for a year. Her year abroad afforded Emily the opportunity to study the legal system in England, and to tour throughout Europe.
In 2010, Emily received her law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Following graduation, Emily clerked for the Honorable Judith C. Ensor in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. As a judicial clerk, Emily had the benefit of observing different legal strategies in both bench and jury trials and quickly learned the dos and don'ts of the courtroom. Emily's judicial clerkship exposed her to several areas of law but also provided the foundation for her strong interest in litigation and insurance defense.
Emily joined Crosswhite, Limbrick & Sinclair in 2012. She enjoys the uniqueness and challenges that each case brings. Emily concentrates her practice in insurance defense, automobile torts, and premises liability. She is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Maryland, and is a member of the American Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, Baltimore County Bar Association and Maryland Defense Counsel.
Apart from her time in Carlisle, Emily has spent her life in Baltimore. She graduated from Roland Park Country School and now resides with her husband, Eric, in the Baltimore area. When not practicing law, Emily enjoys spoiling her black lab, running, and hopes to get back to England in the not so distant future.
